Details About Quarterly Venue Championships and How to Qualify

During normal years, GPF holds Quarterly Venue Championship events every season (Aug, Nov, Feb, and May) and are in a “last man standing” format. Meaning, all players can play but only qualified players can become the Venue Champion. Each Venue Champion will receive 2 Invitations to the GPF National Championship. The top 10 of the point earners for the quarter at each participating venue qualify. Additionally,15 raffle tickets will be drawn to fill out the final field.

 

Typically: Each quarter, GPF players with at least 20 points qualify for the Quarterly State Championship. The Grand Prize is $1,000 cash OR $1,000 towards a World Series of Poker bracelet event entry, plus $500 towards airfare and hotel.
